Requisitos

- • Proof of lawful presence (visa, EAD, etc.)
- • Proof of identity
Documentos Necessarios
- ITIN letter or SSN card
- Valid passport with US visa or I-94
- Two proofs of Texas residency
- I-20 or DS-2019 (if applicable)
Passos
- 1 Gather all required documents
- 2 Visit a DPS office with your documents
- 3 Complete the application
- 4 Pass the written test (30 questions, need 21 correct)
- 5 Pass the vision test
- 6 Pay the $25 fee
- 7 Schedule and pass the driving test
Notas Importantes
- Texas requires proof of lawful presence — ITIN alone is not sufficient without a valid visa
- Some immigrants may qualify through DACA or other programs
