Vermont: ITIN Guia de Carteira
Requisitos
- • Valid ITIN (SSN not required for standard license)
- • Proof of Vermont residency
- • Proof of identity and date of birth

- ITIN letter (CP565 or CP567) or IRS tax return with ITIN
- Valid or expired foreign passport
- Two proofs of Vermont residency (utility bill, bank statement, lease)
- Foreign birth certificate with English translation (if applicable)
Passos
- 1 Gather all required documents including ITIN letter
- 2 Visit a Vermont DMV office (appointment recommended)
- 3 Complete the driver's license application
- 4 Pass the written knowledge test (20 questions, need 16 correct)
- 5 Pass the vision test
- 6 Pay the $50 learner permit fee
- 7 Hold learner permit and complete practice driving
- 8 Schedule and pass the road test ($36 license fee)
Notas Importantes
- Vermont allows all residents to obtain a driver's license regardless of immigration status (S.38, effective 2021)
- Vermont issues the same standard license to all applicants — there is no separate card type for ITIN holders
