Wisconsin: ITIN Guia de Carteira

Requisitos

  • Proof of lawful presence in the United States
  • Valid SSN (ITIN alone is not accepted)
  • Proof of Wisconsin residency
  • Proof of identity, name, and date of birth

Documentos Necessarios

  • Valid passport with US visa, I-94, EAD card, or I-551 permanent resident card
  • Social Security card (SSN required)
  • Two proofs of WI residency (utility bill, bank statement, pay stub)
  • Form MV3001 (Wisconsin driver license application)

Passos

  1. 1 Obtain an SSN through authorized employment or immigration status
  2. 2 Gather all required identity, residency, and immigration documents
  3. 3 Visit a Wisconsin DMV Service Center
  4. 4 Complete form MV3001
  5. 5 Pass the written knowledge test (50 questions, need 40 correct)
  6. 6 Pass the vision screening
  7. 7 Pay the $35 instruction permit fee
  8. 8 Schedule and pass the road skills test ($28 driver license fee)

Notas Importantes

  • Wisconsin requires proof of lawful presence — an ITIN alone is NOT sufficient for a driver's license
  • Non-citizen licenses are restricted to the period of authorized stay
  • DACA recipients with valid EAD are eligible for a driver's license
