Steps

1. 1 Obtain an SSN — you must have authorized immigration status

3. 3 Visit a Secretary of State (SOS) branch office
4. 4 Complete the application form
5. 5 Pass the written knowledge test (50 questions, need 40 correct)
6. 6 Pass the vision test
